One address, read by a person. Tell us what you were converting and what happened, and you will get a straight answer.
We answer most messages within two working days. There is no contact form on this page on purpose: a form would mean storing your message in a database next to your address, and an email does the same job without us holding anything extra.
Reporting a conversion that went wrong
This is the most useful thing you can write to us about, and the details make the difference. Please include the tool you used, for example PDF to Word, what the file was in general terms, roughly how large it was, the browser and device you were on, and what you expected to happen instead. Do not attach the file unless we ask: most problems are reproducible from a description, and we would rather not have a copy of your document sitting in an inbox.
Requesting a format
Tell us the format and, more importantly, what you were trying to achieve with it. A request like converting AVI files from an old camera so they play on a phone tells us far more than a format name, and it is what decides which converter gets built next. Repeated requests move up the list quickly.
Privacy and legal
Privacy questions, data requests and anything legal go to the same address and are answered by the same people. Our position on files and logs is set out in full in the privacy policy, and the limits and guarantees are in the terms of use. If you think the site is doing something it should not, say so plainly and we will look at it.
Before you write
Two answers cover most of the post we get. There is no account system, so nothing needs to be deleted or recovered on your behalf. And if a tool said it could not read your file, that is usually a format mismatch rather than a broken file: the supported formats page lists exactly what each tool accepts, and the tools index is searchable by format name.
