How to convert PNG to PDF

Built for screenshots and scans

PNG is what a screenshot tool and most scanner apps produce, and a folder of them is awkward to send. One PDF is easier to attach, easier to read in sequence, and easier for the person on the other end to print.

Transparency becomes white

PNG supports transparent pixels and PDF pages do not, so anything transparent is placed on a white background. That matches what you would see if you printed the image, and it avoids the black boxes you get from tools that skip this step.

PNG to PDF: common questions

Will my screenshots stay sharp?

Each page is written at the pixel dimensions of the source image, so a screenshot appears at its native size with no downscaling. Text stays as legible in the PDF as it was on screen.

Can I put several images on one page?

Not in this tool: one image becomes one page, which keeps the result predictable. For a contact sheet layout, arrange the images in a document first and use Word to PDF.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Once the page has loaded, the conversion itself needs no connection because it happens in your browser.

Can I reorder pages after adding files?

Yes. Drag any thumbnail in the list to move it, or remove a file with the button on its row. The order shown is the order of the pages in the PDF.
